    Face of Jesus appears in three-cheese pizza

    Another day, another appearance by the son of God in fromage form — this timjeusus2e on a pizza in Australia.

    Jesus Christ’s latest likeness was witnessed by staff at the Posh Pizza takeaway in Brisbane as they pulled the three-cheese special from their oven

    “I can definitely say this isn’t a fake,” the shop’s Maree Phelan told the Herald Sun newspaper. “The three-cheese pizza always comes out with very different colours.”

    It was not known what the three types of cheese used in the pizza were, although a photograph of the fast food appears to indicate mozzarella played a significant part.

    The cheesey Jesus is already credited as having a miraculous influence, sparing the the pizza joint’s owner from a parking ticket after she parked in a loading zone.

    However, Australian Catholic University associate professor said divine intervention was unlikely. “There are a lot of misunderstandings in the making of saints and miracles,” he told the Herald Sun.

    “We often rely on medical miracles because there is scientific proof it can’t be explained by conventional science, that’s where the validity comes from,” he said.

    “You have to understand we can’t apply that kind of rigour to a piece of cheese.”

    That said, Jesus has made regular appearances in dairy produce, once apparently manifesting himself in a grilled cheese sandwich. Mother Teresa has also appeared in cheese form.
